Finally I make it to Geneva.
I landed at Chicago O’Hare at about 10:30 pm. The entry process took about an hour, and the security check and luggage things took another one. Really annoying. Then took a United Airlines plane to Rochester. Johnathan picked me up at Rochester International and he drove us to the campus.
I arrived in the evening when it was dark. But HWS at night was great. Then I went to the dorm. It was pretty good when I first enter into it. Then it sucks. No wifi access in my room but full wifi signal bar in the hallway. Sort of funny.
Never mind, I will spend most of my time in other places.
Perhaps the dorm is the only thing not too good at this moment. We had a reception brunch this morning and that was good.
Geneva is pretty beautiful. Although I believe convenience in an American small town will be a problem but so far it is better than my expectation. A little bit cool here, I mean the weather. It gets rainy these days and when it rains, it makes me feel like winter already.
About America, it is complicated. When I landed at O’Hare, it took me 30 mins to realize that I am now in America. It was really weird and interesting, also nervous perhaps.
Well, this article is just a bunch of bullshit as I arrive. No big deal.
